Stroll’s withdrawal was announced after the qualifying session, missing the window for a driver swap at the Barcelona Grand Prix. The team cited ongoing pain in Stroll’s hand and wrist as the reason for his withdrawal and may consider a replacement for the next race in Canada if he is unable to compete.
